iPhone 3GS Poor Signal, Bad Reception
Posted: July 2nd, 2009 | Author: jared | Filed under: Business, Personal, Technology | 3 Comments »I just purchased a 16 GB White iPhone 3GS and am having terrible signal issues. At first, I thought it was only my local tower, maybe even only my phone. After consulting a couple people around the office who recently purchased the iPhone 3GS, I realized that they are all having the same problem.
If anyone else is experiencing this, please comment and let me know if Apple/AT&T can do anything about this. This is becoming extremely frustrating. I am right next to a window and I’ve receive three voicemails from people trying to reach me this morning! This seems to be an intermittent problem.
Yep, exact same problem. My phone works “ok” my wife’s phone can be right next to mine and get no service. AT&T is a piece of garbage. They told me we get “moderate coverage” but that means we have to be in a field, and can not be in a car or building…
They actually told me we needed to be in a field…
Can’t wait for Verizon to get the iPhone, then goodbye crap AT&T
I just got my new 3GS from O2 in UK. I get one or two pips. My wife is on same network and uses Nokia. She gets 5 pips reception. Very upset
I have this problem on 02 network in the uk to they tell me it’s to do with network coverage yet in the same location I can gain reception wiv the same sim card in a nokia n97 but yet they insist it’s coverage and as i ave ad the phone longer than 14 day there’s nothin I can do about and am stuck wiv a 45 pound contract 4 the next 2 year is this fare and how many more will b con into it
